Ya Bao is made in the western part of Yunnan. In early spring, young buds of wild tea trees are harvested and dried in the sun. In this, Ya Bao is very similar to white tea, for which it is sometimes called "wild white tea".

Later, but in the same spring season, the leaves and buds that grow on these trees are used to produce E Sheng puer, a wild puer.

Taste
Infusion Ya Bao is very light, with a slight yellow-green hue. Taste with pleasant fruity notes, light and fresh, with a delicate floral aroma. This tea resembles traditional white tea, but its taste is more complex.
